Strawberry Milk Tea Whey Protein

I had mixed feelings about this protein powder. On the positive side, it makes for a perfectly acceptable protein shake with a pleasant overall taste that's easy to drink. The milk tea base comes through nicely, and it mixes well without any unpleasant chalky texture that some protein powders can have.

However, I was let down by the strawberry component. For a product that prominently features "strawberry" in its name, the strawberry flavour is surprisingly muted. You can detect hints of it, but it lacks the vibrant, sweet strawberry punch that would really make this flavour stand out. The strawberry taste feels more like an afterthought rather than a starring ingredient.

The milk tea aspect works well and provides a smooth, creamy foundation, but without a stronger strawberry presence, the flavour profile feels incomplete. It's not bad by any means - just underwhelming given the expectations set by the product name.

I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a basic, drinkable protein shake, but if you're specifically seeking that bold strawberry flavour, you might want to look elsewhere. Hopefully, the manufacturer will consider boosting the strawberry flavouring in future formulations, as this small adjustment could easily elevate this from "acceptable" to "excellent."

Bottom line: Decent protein shake, but the strawberry flavour needs more intensity to live up to its billing.

I'll start off by saying that I do NOT like strawberry flavored drinks. Real strawberries? Love them. Strawberry ice cream, shakes, etc I cannot stand them. That being said, this strawberry milk tea is PHENOMENAL. It's perfectly balanced, doesn't taste artificial, and just the right amount of strawberry. I definitely will be buying this over and over again as long as the formula stays the same.

I looove the boba tea protein flavors but it bums me out that most have caffeine which triggers my anxiety. I’ve been sticking to taro which is good, but I’m happy to have some variety now with this strawberry flavor! Definitely tastes just like strawberry milk, though I was hoping it would be more fruity and less creamy/sweet, but still good! Excited to try mixing it with matcha in the future to see if maybe it’ll be a good flavor + lower caffeine option compared to straight matcha :)

I genuinely can't believe how much I like this flavor. I've went to boba shops and ordered strawberry milk teas that don't taste as good as this. I hope it stays in stock for a while so I can order more without having to wait too long lmao. It's also really good with chia seeds :o)
